UK-based Kevin Nicks has gone viral on social media for creating a 22-feet-long scooter that is likely to set the Guinness World Record as the world's longest mobility scooter. The self-employed builder and designer also hold a Guinness World Record for making the world's fastest garden shed.
The inventor told the Whitney Gazette that it only took three days and a tight budget of Rs 16,000 to build the 22-feet-long scooter.
His project will be verified on September 25 and 26 during the Straightliners automotive records event at Elvington Airfield in UK's Yorkshire. The existing record for the world's longest mobility scooter stands at 10 feet and four inches. It was set in 2019.
In order to break the current record. Nick's scooter should not have any wheels in the middle to support the vehicle's weight. It should also be able to run up to 100 metres. However, there is no minimum or maximum speed to abide by.
