Video streaming platform YouTube is introducing a new feature that will allow creators to reply to comments with Shorts.
The Google-owned company said that it is listening to the requests of creators and allowing them to feature comments posted on their channels in the content on the short-form video app.
An official statement said: "Invite your audience to connect with you via this new feature by answering their questions in your Shorts, taking content requests, reacting to comments in your videos, and whatever else you come up with." It is also planning to introduce a feature that will notify the users when their comment is highlighted.
The new feature is currently available on iOS devices. The update will be launched for Android users in the future.
YouTube Shorts, a relatively new feature, has reached 30 billion daily views and is growing rapidly. The streaming platform is also planning to allow users to turn their longer videos into Shorts by adding a new "Edit into a Short" tool to its iOS and Android app.
Shorts is also set to make its way to a smart TV platform called YouTube TV. Viewers will be able to watch up to four live streams simultaneously using a new feature called Mosaic Mode.
