New Delhi: It seems there is no end to chaos at Twitter after Elon Musk started flabbergasting employees with snap layoffs.
One engineer who was showed door for arguing with Musk said that nobody trusts each other anymore at Twitter.
It seems to be the case now as Twitter owner has fired a dozen more for criticising him, shocking remaining others whose fate hangs in the balance.
The latest round of firing was for criticizing Musk on social media and Slack, a messenger designed for corporates, according to India Today. Just a fortnight ago Musk laid off half of Twitter's workforce including some key officials.
NBC news reported that around 20 employees lost job at Twitter in the last 48 hours for criticising Musk either publicly or internally.
More layoffs come hours after a veteran engineer Eric Frohnhoefer was fired for arguing with Elon Musk on the social media over what began as a conversation on technical glitch.
As their conversation heated up, Musk wouldn't wait to use his silver bullet: firing, and engineer Frohnhoefer took it on the chin tweeting a saluting emoji.
The 41-year-old engineer who had been at Twitter for over 8 years reportedly said that employees do not trust the management, and the management does not trust employees either.
Afterwards, Frohnhoefer told Forbes that he had not received any formal announcement on his dismissal from the company.
Meanwhile, Musk tweeted to "apologise for firing these geniuses. Their immense talent will no doubt be of great use elsewhere."
Alongside an email received by expelled employees reportedly said they were fired because of their recent behaviour "violated company policy".
