Meta Platforms has launched Vibes, a new feed dedicated to AI-generated videos.
The platform aims to speed up the company’s push into artificial intelligence technology.
Vibes allows users to create and share short-form AI videos. The feature will be available on the Meta AI app and on the meta.ai website starting Thursday.
Users can generate videos from scratch, use their own existing content, or remix clips from the Vibes feed. They will also be able to add visuals, layer in music, and then upload the content directly to Vibes. Videos can also be cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook stories and reels.
Meta earned nearly $165 billion in revenue last year. In June, the company reorganised its AI efforts under a new division called Superintelligence Labs, following setbacks with its open-source Llama 4 model and the departure of key staff.
The tech giant is betting on new revenue streams through its Meta AI app, image-to-video ad tools, and smart glasses. Vibes is expected to play a central role in this strategy.
