Elon Musk's former girlfriend Amber Heard joins the list of celebrities whose Twitter accounts have disappeared since Musk took over the social media network last week.
The report comes in the midst of Musk's sweeping leadership changes at Twitter, which include showing the door to senior executives, inducting Telsa officials and dissolving Twitter's board of directors.
YouTuber Mathew Lewis was the first to report Amber Heard's vanished account with its screenshot on Wednesday, saying " Amber Heard has deleted her Twitter".
Other celebrities to quit Twitter, according to NBC News, are Toni Braxton, actress Shonda Rhimes, and retired professional wrestler Mick Foley.
It is not yet clear why Amber Heard, who was in a relationship with Musk between 2016 and 2018 after her divorce from actor Johnny Depp, removed her account.
Until recently she had been all over the place in media during the trial of a defamation case she had unsuccessfully fought against actor Johnny Depp with the court ordering her to pay Depp $ 10.35 million.
Amber Heard's exit from Twitter raised a range of speculations with many Twitter users seeking to know if it was because of Musk's takeover of the social media platform.
