Smriti Mandhana reclaims No. 1 spot in ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings

Smriti Mandhana climbed to the top of the ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings on Tuesday after consistent performances in the recently concluded three-match series against Australia.

Mandhana amassed 790 rating points, moving ahead of South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt, who has 782 points and could regain the top position during the Proteas’ upcoming series against New Zealand in March and April. Mandhana scored 58 and 31 in the series against Australia.

Australia captain Alyssa Healy, who struck a century in her final ODI, signed off in fourth place with 744 points. She is placed behind Beth Mooney on 749 and ahead of Ashleigh Gardner on 724.

India captain Harmanpreet Kaur returned to the top 10, rising four places to ninth with 652 points after scores of 53, 54, and 25, despite India losing all three ODIs. Jemimah Rodrigues is ranked 12th.
