The spiral galaxy, sometimes referred to as the "Hidden galaxy," is yet another wonder of space that NASA has shared. The galaxy that was captured by Hubble is located approximately 11 million light-years from Earth. The Euclid mission of the European Space Agency captured this amazing picture.
"The spiral galaxy above also known as the "Hidden Galaxy," is the first of five images released from the Euclid mission," NASA wrote in the caption on Instagram, NDTV reported.
The galaxy "lies behind a crowd of dust in the Milky Way" and is situated approximately 11 million light-years from Earth, according to the space agency.
Typically, a spiral galaxy consists of a rotating disc with spiral 'arms' extending from a dense core area. Another spiral galaxy is the Milky Way.
In the centre of this square astronomical image is a large spiral galaxy seen in pink and white colours.
The photos were uploaded five hours ago, and they already have over two lakh likes on Instagram. When NASA released the photo, space enthusiasts were enthralled.
