Donald J Trump was re-elected, promising total transparency on Epstein and other matters. He has unsealed classified files on other issues. But once he came back into office, President Trump reneged on his campaign pledge to publish the Epstein Files. Why?
Jeffrey Epstein and Trump were bosom buddies for decades. The two New Yorkers both had houses in Florida. There are photographs and films of them meeting socially on multiple occasions. Then Mr Trump commented that ‘Epstein likes women on the younger side.’
When Epstein was convicted of a sexual act with a 15-year-old, Donald Trump distanced himself from Epstein. He said, ‘I never liked the guy. ’ Is that why he chose to socialise with him so much?
The Democrats control some of the committees in the House of Representatives. They found internal FBI communications in which the Director of the FBI (Kash Patel) wrote that the Epstein Files must not be released in their entirety because that would queer the pitch for the Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections. Mr Patel is a Trump appointee. Partisan advantage is not a proper reason to withhold the files.
The Democrat dominated committees released thousands of pages of the Epstein Files. It reveals that the late Jeffrey Epstein said that Donald Trump spent several hours alone with Virginia Giuffre (nee Roberts). It does not say that he committed any sexual act with her. Virginia Giuffre was a 17-year-old from a broken home whom Epstein’s girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, hired to give massages to Epstein and his friends. This turned into sexual activity. Virginia Giuffre alleged she was coerced into sex by Epstein and Prince Andrew. Mrs Giuffre committed suicide in 2025.
The Epstein Files reveal that Donald J Trump and Jeffrey Epstein had a falling out before Trump’s first presidential term. The reason for the end of the friendship is unclear.
Mr Epstein made some highly disobliging remarks about Trump in his private correspondence. He said, ‘he is the worst person I have ever met’. He spoke of Trump’s superficial charisma and his utter mendacity. He claimed that Donald J Trump knew about the girls’, implying that Trump knew sex crimes were being committed. Epstein never claimed that Trump participated. Jeffrey Epstein said ‘I could bring Trump down’ as in topple his presidency.
In vengeance, the Republicans released more information. This states that top Democrats were confreres of the late Jeffrey Epstein and often spent the night at his homes in Manhattan, Florida and the US Virgin Islands. Former US President was a house guest of Jeffrey Epstein on numerous occasions.
The Epstein Files also show that Prince Andrew knew exactly who Virginia Roberts (later Giuffre) was. Moreover, the photo of them together is real. The prince subsequently said it needed to be authenticated, and his acolytes claimed it was a hoax. Prince Andrew (now Mr Mountbatten-Windsor) and Epstein discussed how to ruin Virginia Roberts’ reputation. Could they portray her as a hooker, a chancer, a loony and a gold digger? In fairness, some of that may be true.
If Virginia Roberts (Giuffre) was raped at Epstein’s houses, why did she keep coming back? She was involved with Epstein for three and a half years. She said she was allowed in and out any time. She flew from one city to another on her own and sometimes went away from his properties for weeks. Her passport was not taken. She was in the United States easily. She could easily get away from him in the USA. It just does not make sense to claim that she suffered a violent crime at his hands and yet repeatedly returned to his house. She was not forced to be there or locked in. She has endless opportunities to escape his clutches.
Jeffrey Epstein was born in New York City in a working-class Jewish family in 1953. He has one brother. Jeffrey Epstein did well at school but dropped out of college. Nonetheless, he found a job as a mathematics teacher. It was very hard to get people to teach in NYC at the time, so they accepted people without degrees. Teachers’ salaries were low and the city was getting unlivable due to violent crime, traffic jams and pollution. Epstein is alleged to have had intimate liaisons with teenage girls whom he taught.
In banking, Epstein made millions. By the age of 30, he was a multimillionaire. By the age of 40, he had tens of millions of dollars. He mixed with leading politicians, actors, actresses, singers and fashion designers.
Epstein donated to the Democratic Party and to Zionist causes. It is claimed he was an informant for Mossad (Israeli external intelligence).
In 2010, Epstein made a plea bargain with prosecutors in Florida. He pleaded guilty to a minor charge in return for having all the others dropped. He served only one year, and he was on day release for several hours each day.
In 2019, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in New York and was charged with crimes relating to 14 females. If convicted on all counts, he faced centuries in prison. But he was ebullient because he had a superb legal team led by Harvard Professor of Law, Alan Dershowitz. Epstein had beaten charges before and was convinced he would do so again.
In prison, they remove all items that could be used for self-harm. Epstein’s cellmate was moved out for no apparent reason. The security cameras stopped working for several hours. Both prison officers were supposed to check on him fell asleep simultaneously. Epstein was found hanged in his cell. An independent autopsy said this was not a suicide.
The death of Epstein before he stood trial was very convenient for some powerful men like Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Prince Andrew. Epstein could have named names to cut his sentence. Presumably, he was murdered to silence him.
The biographer of Prince Andrew is Dr Andrew Lownie. Lownie says he knows who ordered the death of Epstein, but dares not say.
With Epstein dead, attention shifted to Ghislaine Maxwell. She foolishly stayed in the USA and did not flee to France. As she is a French citizen, France was constitutionally barred from extraditing her.
Miss Maxwell was arrested and charged with sex trafficking. Upon conviction, she was awarded 25 years in a federal prison. She has since stated that Trump had no involvement in sex crimes. When she said that, she was moved to a comfier prison. She is petitioning him for a pardon.
Ghislaine Maxwell was Epstein’s girlfriend in the 1990s. Ghislaine was born in Paris to a French mother and a father who was a Slovakian Jew who became a British citizen. Robert Maxwell, the father of Ghislaine, was a multimillionaire publisher and owned the UK’s main left-wing tabloid, the Daily Mirror.
Robert Maxwell was elected Member of Parliament for Buckingham in 1964 as a member of the Labour Party. He only joined Labour as his preferred party, the Conservatives would not have him. Robert Maxwell lost his seat after only 18 months.
Ghislaine was the youngest of 9 children and her father’s favourite. Her parents had a fractious marriage, and her father was a notorious womaniser. He was also a toady to tyrants in the communist world. Robert Maxwell was a fanatical Zionist – most of his relatives had been killed in the Holocaust. He said it was only the USSR that saved even more Jews from being killed. He sucked up to dictators in Eastern Europe to ensure that Jews there were allowed to emigrate and go to Israel.
In 1991, Robert Maxwell’s business empire was collapsing. He had raided the pension funds of his employees to keep things going. Banks would not lend to him anymore. His communist dictator friends in Eastern Europe had been overthrown.
Ghislaine Maxwell was sent to New York to break into high society and get loans for her father. Her father died after he fell off his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine, in November 1991. Did he jump, or was he pushed, or was it an accident? There are theories that Mossad assassinated him because he tried to blackmail them in his desperation.
After her father’s death, Ghislaine Maxwell remained in New York. She became the paramour of Jeffrey Epstein. Both were Jewish, but she was Jewish only on her father’s side. Traditionally, Jewishness is matrilineal on the basis that, before DNA tests, paternity could not be proven.
Ghislaine became a US citizen after a few years. Her romantic relationship with Epstein ended amicably. She remained close friends with him. His staff said she was the undisputed chatelaine of his house. She hired and fired people.
Sarah Ransome – an alleged victim of Epstein – said that Ghislaine Maxwell was even more evil than Epstein. She was the procuress. Teenage girls trusted her because they did not perceive women as dangerous. Miss Maxwell would praise their looks, brains and achievement. She would take them to the cinema and on shopping trips.
