San Francisco: The smartphone maker Motorola announced the international release of the next-generation foldable smartphone 'Moto Razr 2022'. The brand's flagship phone arrives with Qualcomms' latest chipset, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, IANS reported.
Motorola plans to release the phone in select European markets three months after debuting the model in China.
The smartphone site online, GSMArena, says that Moto Razr 2022 will arrive with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option, in Satin Black skin and priced at 1,200 euros (approx. Rs 98,500). Motorola has not yet announced its arrival date precisely, but the phone is expected soon.
The Razr 2022 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The chin from the earlier Razr versions has been eliminated, and the hinge mechanism has been reworked, GSMArena says.
The phone will don a 2.7-inch OLED cover screen that users can use to access most of the functionality without having to unfold the main screen, GSMArena reports state.
Further, it will have a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide module. But the 8/128GB and 12/512GB variants don't seem to be included in the initial global release.
The report suggests that the phone will have a 3,500mAh battery with 30W charging, eSIM + physical SIM slot, IP52 splash rating, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.
