UAE reshuffles Foreign Ministry Cabinet

The Vice President of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the presence of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, proclaimed a 'mini cabinet reshuffle' at the UAE Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.

Dr Anwar Gargash, the former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and the second most senior foreign affairs official stepped down to take the role of diplomatic adviser to the President of the state Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. Zaki Nusseibeh left the position as the Minister of State for Public and Cultural Diplomacy to become cultural adviser to the President. 

 Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak, the former UAE ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar, former assistant minister of political affairs are the new ministers of state of the foreign ministry. 

Both leaders took to Twitter to announce the cabinet shuffle and congratulate the appointment of the new order.
