UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has commended the solidarity demonstrated across the country in the wake of recent regional attacks, describing unity as the nation’s defining strength.
In a message shared on social media, he addressed citizens, residents and visitors, saying, “In the UAE, everyone is Emirati through their love for this land and their contributions to it,” and extended his words to “those who call the UAE home and guests in our beloved nation”.
He stated that protecting people remains the government’s foremost responsibility.
“With God’s grace, the UAE is fully prepared to confront these threats”, he said.
The President also acknowledged the role of the armed forces, security services and state institutions in responding to the situation.
“They represent the highest standards of readiness and cooperation. We are truly proud of them", he said.
Offering condolences to families of those killed and support to the injured, he added, “May God have mercy on the victims and grant the injured a speedy recovery".
"With God’s blessing, the UAE, the land of Zayed, will remain strong in its unity, steadfast in defending its sovereignty and steadily advancing towards the future”, he said.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohamed visited a number of those injured in hospital, meeting them and their families. He was seen speaking with patients and relatives, holding their hands and offering reassurance during the visit.
