The event features more than 8,500 exhibitors from around 195 countries, showcasing over 1.5 million products spanning all segments of the global food industry.

Sheikh Mohammed’s visit took place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, with Gulfood 2026 becoming the first event hosted at the newly expanded venue. The expansion marks a major addition to Dubai’s exhibitions infrastructure and supports the emirate’s position as a centre for global trade and industry.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE continues to consolidate its role as a global hub for trade and industry and as a platform connecting markets, producers and innovators. He said the food sector remains a key pillar of global economic stability and food security.
