Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan met with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss strengthening economic cooperation and expanding investment opportunities between Kerala and the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting, held in Abu Dhabi on Monday, focused on enhancing economic development partnerships and identifying new areas for collaboration. Both sides agreed to explore additional investment projects that could support mutual growth and deepen trade and development ties.
Senior officials from the UAE and India attended the discussions, including Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development Chairman Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Crown Prince’s Office Saif Saeed Ghobash, Kerala Minister Saji Cherian, Indian Ambassador to the UAE Deepak Mittal and LuLu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuffali.
The meeting discussed potential collaborations to expand cooperation in key economic sectors and promote new avenues for investment and partnership.
