Global Village Season 31 opens October 14: Timings, parking and visitor guide
Global Village will begin its 31st season on Wednesday, October 14, with the gates opening at 6pm on the first night.
The outdoor multicultural attraction will operate until May 2027 under the theme ‘A More Wonderful World’.
Country pavilions, international food outlets, Carnaval rides, shopping areas and live entertainment will return, while further additions are expected to be announced around opening night.
Last season featured 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, along with more than 3,500 retail outlets and over 250 dining choices.
Opening hours
After opening night, Global Village will operate from 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday. It will remain open until 1am from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
Tuesdays, unless they fall on a public holiday, are reserved for families, couples and women.
Season 31 entry tickets had not yet been released on the official ticketing page at the time of writing. Visitors should check the website or mobile application for confirmed prices before travelling. Rides and selected attractions are charged separately.
VIP packs are already on sale and offer additional admission and parking benefits. One pack will contain a prize worth Dh31,000 as part of the Season 31 promotion.
Parking options
Global Village is located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, or E311.
Drivers can use free parking in P1 and P3, both about 400 metres from the Gate of the World, or P5, about 450 metres away.
Free zones P7 to P11 open on weekends, public holidays and other busy days. They are about one kilometre from the Cultural Gate, with a free shuttle service available. Rickshaw journeys start from Dh10.
Paid Parking 2, about 350 metres from the Happiness Gate, costs Dh75 per day. Standard paid parking costs Dh120, while VIP parking costs Dh200 per day and is complimentary for eligible VIP pack holders.
Dedicated spaces are available for People of Determination, while Parking A is reserved for A Sticker holders.
Visitors who do not want to drive can travel by taxi or use public buses serving Global Village.
Planning the visit
Arriving when the gates open can help visitors explore the park before the busiest evening period. Starting with pavilions farther from the main entrance may also reduce time spent in early crowds.
Families planning to use the Carnaval rides may find shorter queues earlier in the evening, before visitors finish touring the pavilions.
The park’s major food areas have previously included the Floating Market for East Asian dishes, Happiness Street for quick meals, the Dessert District and the Indian Chaat Bazaar.
Food vendors, menus and prices can change each season, so visitors should treat previous-season recommendations as a guide rather than a confirmed list.
