Dubai Crown Prince arrives in Kuwait, commencing official visit

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, arrived in Kuwait today for an official visit, leading a high-level delegation. He was received by Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Minister of Interior, along with other senior leaders and officials.

The visit shows the strong fraternal ties between the UAE and Kuwait and their continued cooperation in a range of sectors.

During his arrival, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the strong and growing ties between the UAE and Kuwait. He stressed that under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Kuwait’s Emir, His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the bilateral relations between the two countries will continue to strengthen, particularly in various fields.

Sheikh Hamdan reiterated the UAE's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Kuwait, drawing from their deep historical connections and shared vision of a prosperous future.

As part of his visit, Sheikh Hamdan will meet with Kuwait’s leaders and senior officials to explore new opportunities for collaboration and strategic partnerships, with a focus on supporting the sustainable development goals of both nations.

The delegation accompanying Sheikh Hamdan includes several prominent ministers and officials such as Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and The Future; Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State.

Other notable members include Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul, President of Dubai's State Security Department; Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers; Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library Foundation; Major General Dr. Mubarak bin Ghafan Al Jabri from the Ministry of Defence; and Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to Kuwait.
