Dubai Chambers has signed an agreement with e-commerce platform Trendyol to help small and medium-sized businesses expand online.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding, SMEs referred by Dubai Chambers will receive a support package for onboarding and growth on Trendyol.
The package includes a 40 per cent discount on the introductory commission rate for the first three months. This is double the standard 20 per cent discount available to all sellers and runs one month longer than the usual two-month period.
Sellers will also receive dedicated homepage visibility, free advertising credit, campaign visibility, priority account management and hands-on onboarding support, including help with product uploads.
Khalid AlJarwan, Executive Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, said, “Our partnership with Trendyol will help businesses expand their presence across e-commerce channels, strengthen their digital capabilities, and access new opportunities for growth.”
Mohamad ElAnsari, Chief Executive Officer of Trendyol Gulf, said, "this partnership with Dubai Chambers is a sign of our commitment to standing by businesses at the moment it matters most".
The partnership also includes a structured training program for sellers.
The curriculum covers basic e-commerce skills such as product listing, stock management, pricing and operations. It also includes advanced modules on advertising, promotional tools and performance analysis.
Live webinars will give sellers direct access to guidance and support from platform experts.
Trendyol launched in the UAE in 2023 and has onboarded more than 15,500 regional sellers.
Through the new agreement, more Dubai-based businesses will be able to use Trendyol’s e-commerce infrastructure, sales channels and market expertise.
