Authorities in Umm Al Quwain said one person was injured after debris from an intercepted drone fell near an industrial facility in the Umm Al Thaoub area on Wednesday.
The Umm Al Quwain Government Media Office confirmed that UAE air defence systems intercepted a drone targeting the emirate before fragments landed at the site.
Officials said the injured individual is an Indian national. No further details were provided on the extent of injuries or damage.
Emergency teams were deployed to the scene and secured the area, with authorities continuing to monitor the situation.
