'Vijay Dum Dum Biryani' grand finale to take place in Riyadh on September 25

A total of 20 finalists, chosen from the semi-final rounds held in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah will compete in the final showdown.

RIYADH: The grand finale of Saudi Arabia’s largest biryani cooking contest, "Vijay Dum Dum Biryani," will take place on September 25 in Riyadh. The grand event will be hosted with extensive celebrations at the LuLu Mall in Malaz, Riyadh. The mega event is jointly organized by Gulf Madhyamam and MeFriend.

The semi-final participants were selected through registrations and roadshow competitions conducted over the past few months across various hypermarkets and malls in around ten major cities in Saudi Arabia. A total of 20 finalists, chosen from the semi-final rounds held in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah will compete in the final showdown. They will battle for titles across two distinct categories: 'Biryani Raja' and 'Biryani Dum Star.'




 Renowned culinary experts Chef Pillai and Raj Kalesh will serve as the judges for the grand finale. Alongside the competition, a musical performance featuring famous singers Kannur Shareef, Jassim Jamal, and Sumi Aravind has been arranged. Popular film actress Dayana Hameed will host the event.
