Third day of LEAP 2026 brings $857m in technology investments

Technology investment announcements at LEAP 2026 reached $857 million on the third day of the conference, spanning venture capital, cloud computing and local manufacturing.

The agreements add to the flow of international and domestic capital into Saudi Arabia’s technology sector, while creating new funding channels for startups and supporting the production of data-centre equipment in the Kingdom, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Venture capital represented nearly $293 million of the day’s announcements across 11 deals.

Nine investment rounds accounted for $126.15 million, while the creation of one fund and the expansion of another represented a further $166.7 million.

The funding covered companies operating in artificial intelligence, financial technology, travel, gaming, human resources and digital automotive services.

Businesses involved included COFE Tech, FlyAkeed, Nayla Finance, RABEH, Hazen.ai, ZenHR, Abwab.ai and TAKA House.

Ula Capital announced a $100 million fund in partnership with South Korea’s FuturePlay.

The fund is intended to connect deep-technology investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and South Korea, opening a new channel for startups and investors in both countries.

Impact46 and HALA also increased the value of their financing vehicle for small and medium-sized enterprises from $26.7 million to $66.7 million.

That represents an increase of about 150 per cent in less than two years.

Saudi company Alfanar announced a $150 million investment to manufacture data-centre components locally.

The project is expected to increase the domestic supply of equipment required for data centres and strengthen local participation in advanced technology manufacturing.

It will also support Saudi Arabia’s expanding digital infrastructure as demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence and data-processing capacity continues to grow.

The third-day announcements reflect efforts to attract international investment, provide capital to emerging companies and establish more high-technology manufacturing operations inside Saudi Arabia.
