Riyadh: In a triumphant return for the 5th consecutive year, the Science India Forum KSA is set to celebrate the achievements of young minds in various competitions held throughout 2023.
The prestigious award ceremony will unfold on February 9th in International Indian School, (Boys’) Riyadh, and February 10th in International Indian School, (Boys’) Jubail.
The annual competitions, including the Sastra Pratibha Contest, National Children's Science Congress, World Environment Day, National Science Day, and International Yoga Day, have become integral in nurturing scientific curiosity among students in Indian schools.
The Science Gala Day serves as a culmination, where the winners are honored for their outstanding contributions. This year's Science Gala Day boasts the esteemed presence of Dr. B.N. Suresh, a distinguished personality adorned with Padmasree (2002) and Padmabhushan (2013) honors.
Dr. Suresh, the Chancellor of the Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, and Honorary Distinguished Professor of ISRO, HQ, Bengaluru, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker.
The inception of the Science India Forum in 2015 aimed to instill a scientific temperament in students, steering them towards the realm of research crucial for India's development. The forum's impactful initiatives have garnered appreciation, empowering students with enriching experiences.
Noteworthy accomplishments include winners of the National Children's Science Congress representing KSA at the 30th National Science Congress in Ahmedabad. Similarly, Sastra Pratibha Contest champions were treated to a three-day exploration of government research centers in Bengaluru.
