The Saudi Arabian Cabinet, in its meeting on Tuesday, reiterated the Kingdom’s support for efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza. The Cabinet emphasized the importance of ending Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land, achieving peace, and securing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Cabinet also praised the Arab Parliament's contributions in international forums and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Arab nations. This cooperation aims to enhance security and stability in the region while fostering conditions for development and sustainable growth.
The Cabinet also discussed the recent meeting between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, in Jeddah. During this meeting, Al-Asoumi presented the Crown Prince with the Leader’s Medal, recognizing his significant contributions to defending Arab causes and promoting joint Arab initiatives.
Furthermore, the Cabinet reviewed Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts in the areas of sustainability and environmental conservation. These initiatives include the development and expansion of royal reserves with a focus on protecting wildlife, supporting afforestation, and promoting ecotourism.
