Saudi Arabia begins early pilgrimage preparations at Hajj Conference and Exhibition

Jeddah: Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah announced that the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 1447 AH marks the start of official preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.

Speaking at the event, held on Sunday at the Jeddah Superdome, Al-Rabiah said the Kingdom is continuing to strengthen the Hajj services system to meet the directives of the leadership and improve the experience of pilgrims.

Held under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and supported by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the conference drew more than 100,000 visitors from around the world, including senior officials and delegations from multiple countries.

Al-Rabiah noted that participating nations are using the platform to establish partnerships and complete operational contracts ahead of the next pilgrimage, reflecting coordination between government and private sectors involved in Hajj services.

The minister emphasized that the conference and exhibition reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to  ensuring a smooth and well-organized pilgrimage experience. He added that last year’s pilgrimage achieved a 91 percent satisfaction rate among pilgrims and expressed optimism about maintaining and improving this outcome in future seasons.

Now in its fifth edition, the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 1447 AH spans 60,000 square meters and features 225 speakers taking part in over 80 panel discussions and 60 workshops. The event serves as a forum for collaboration, innovation and capacity building to enhance the quality and efficiency of Hajj services.
