The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is set to gather global AI leaders at its DeepFest platform during the fourth LEAP conference, scheduled to take place from February 9-12 in Riyadh.

With over 150 speakers, 120 exhibitors, and an anticipated attendance of more than 50,000 participants from across the world, DeepFest will serve as a hub for showcasing cutting-edge AI technologies. The event aims to explore emerging innovations, foster collaboration, facilitate knowledge exchange and establish partnerships that drive advancements across multiple industries.

SDAIA will actively engage in various events and panel discussions at the conference. Areeb Al-Owisheq, head of Linguistic Technologies in SDAIA’s Research and Development Sector, will join a panel titled “Innovation in the Kingdom’s Future Economies” to discuss the expansion of AI applications in emerging economies.

At its booth, SDAIA will highlight its latest projects, including Tawakkalna, an all-in-one government services application. Other notable showcases include Aynay, an AI-powered medical solution for detecting diabetic retinopathy; Ehsan, a charitable giving platform; and AI-based tools such as Sawtak and Samai, which have enhanced the quality of government and technical services in Saudi Arabia.

Additionally, SDAIA will present initiatives designed to advance Saudi Arabia’s leadership in data and AI, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to digital transformation. Founded in 2019, SDAIA plays a crucial role in executing the government’s AI strategy and raising awareness of AI technologies both domestically and internationally.

By bringing together AI experts and industry leaders, DeepFest at LEAP 2024 is set to position Saudi Arabia as a key player in the global AI landscape, fostering innovation and technological progress.
