New Managing Committee takes charge at International Indian School Riyadh

The newly elected Managing Committee of the International Indian School Riyadh (IISR) has formally assumed office for the 2026-28 term following an investiture ceremony held in the capital.

The event began with a silent prayer, after which Principal Meera Rahman addressed attendees. She thanked the School Patron and Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, as well as Vipul Bava, First Secretary at the Indian Embassy and Observer of Indian Schools, and members of the Higher Board for their support.

Rahman congratulated the incoming committee and outlined its responsibility in overseeing administration and ensuring the smooth functioning of the institution. She said a circular detailing the new committee would be sent to parents the same day.

Speaking at the ceremony, Observer Vipul Bava said Managing Committee members carry significant responsibilities and must maintain professional communication to ensure effective governance. He added that decisions taken during School Managing Committee meetings must be forwarded to the Higher Board for final approval.
