Jeddah to host annual Hajj Conference and Exhibition

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the fifth annual Hajj Conference and Exhibition, under the title “From Makkah to the World", to take place in Jeddah from November 9 to 12, 2025. The major event, held in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, is being organized under the sponsorship of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Last year’s edition proved to be a major success, drawing more than 120,000 attendees from around the globe, along with 220 exhibitors representing 137 nations and generating over 670 collaborative agreements.

This year’s programming is set to be more ambitious, with over 80 sessions and 60 specialized workshops designed for academics, researchers, pilgrim services offices, diplomatic representatives and trainees.

A key highlight will be the contribution of the King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah) through its History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques Forum. The forum will explore both historical and cultural dimensions of the pilgrimage while also showcasing modern technological applications for documenting and presenting Hajj experiences via interactive digital platforms.

Industries represented at the event will include travel, transportation, telecommunications, healthcare, food services, hospitality, technology, insurance, crowd management and logistics. In addition, non-profit organizations will showcase collaborative projects aimed at delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for enhancing pilgrim services.

The accompanying exhibition will be vast, spanning 52,000 square meters and hosting more than 260 exhibitors. An Innovation Zone will spotlight 15 startups and entrepreneurs competing across three challenge categories to propose forward-looking solutions for Hajj services.

According to a statement from the Ministry, “Ministry officials characterize the conference as a unique global forum for expertise exchange and technology demonstration, facilitating partnerships between government agencies, private companies and non-profit organizations".

"They position it as the world’s only specialized international platform focused on Hajj system development and innovation, promoting cross-sector coordination in serving pilgrims".

The initiatives align closely with the Pilgrim Experience Program and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, which aim to enhance the pilgrimage journey through innovation, efficiency and global collaboration.
