India-Saudi Ties: Ajit Doval meets Saudi leaders in Riyadh for talks on energy security, regional stability

Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval visited Riyadh for high-level talks with Saudi officials, focusing on regional security, energy stability, and the strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.

Mr Doval arrived in the Saudi capital on Monday and was received at the airport by Saudi Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Dr Saud Al-Sati and Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dr Suhel Ajaz Khan.




 During the visit, Mr Doval held meetings with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Advisor Dr Musaad Al-Aiban.

Dr Saud Al-Sati also attended the meetings.

The talks reviewed the regional security situation and progress in the India-Saudi strategic partnership.

Discussions covered global energy security, stability of fuel supplies, secure supply chains and joint efforts to protect international waterways.

Both sides also discussed coordination on regional and international issues of shared concern.




 Officials said the meetings reaffirmed the commitment of India and Saudi Arabia to strengthen bilateral relations and expand diplomatic and energy cooperation in the period ahead.
