Indian community in Qatar bids farewell to Ambassador Vipul

The Indian community in Qatar held a farewell ceremony for Indian Ambassador Vipul as he prepares to move to his next diplomatic assignment after completing his tenure in the country.

The event was organised by the Indian Cultural Centre in association with the Indian Community Benevolent Forum, Indian Sports Centre and Indian Business and Professionals Council.

The farewell was held on Wednesday, July 22, at ICC Ashoka Hall in Doha.

ICC President A.P. Manikantan welcomed the gathering and delivered a felicitation message.

Felicitation messages were also delivered by ICBF President Shanavas Bava, ISC President E.P. Abdulrahman and IBPC President Thaha Muhammad.




 


The four apex bodies, ICC, ICBF, ISC and IBPC, jointly honoured Ambassador Vipul for his service and contribution to the Indian community in Qatar.

Representatives of associated organisations under the four apex bodies also felicitated the ambassador and thanked him for his guidance and support during his tenure.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Vipul expressed gratitude to the Indian community for its cooperation and support. He also shared his experiences and engagements during his time in Qatar.

ICC General Secretary Abraham K. Joseph delivered the vote of thanks.

The event was attended by Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India; Dr Vaibhav A. Tandale, Counsellor and Head of Chancery and Consular; managing committee and advisory committee members of ICC, ICBF, ISC and IBPC; presidents of associated organisations; and senior members of the Indian community.
