On Saturday, Hezbollah announced it had carried out a drone strike on a military base in northern Israel's Haifa region the previous day.
According to a statement from the Iran-backed militant group, the attack was launched at 8:00 pm (1700 GMT) on Friday. The assault involved a swarm of explosives-laden drones targeting an air defense base in Haifa.
This latest escalation comes amid heightened tensions between Hezbollah and Israel, as both sides continue to exchange hostilities along the border.
