Abdullah bin Zayed meets Indian Minister of External Affairs

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation met Dr. Subramniam Jay Shankar, Indian Minister of External Affairs.

During the meeting  at the Ministry's General Office in Abu Dhabi,  they discussed strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in several areas, including agricultural, health, trade and food security. His Highness and Minister of Foreign Affairs of India exchanged views on developments in the region and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of His Excellency Dr. Jay Shankar, stressing the distinguished and solid relations and the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries. He also praised the continuous development of joint cooperation between the two countries in all fields, in light of the support and patronage of the leaderships of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, and Pavan Kapoor, Ambassador of India to the country.
