After hearing multiple petitions filed by CBSE school managements and students, the Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed the publication of the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination results. The publication of the entrance exam results to professional courses in the state has been stayed until further notice.
The petitioners argued that as the class 12 examinations were not held, the KEAM rank list must be based solely on the marks secured in the KEAM examination and preparing the final rank list based on the marks given in class 12 would not be fair.
The counsel for the government informed the HC that no decision has been taken yet on how to prepare the rank list and that it shall be devised soon.
The court instructed authorities not to announce results until further notice and posted the case for the next week.
