Saddening: Kerala man dies saving son from bike speeding towards them

Malappuram/Kerala: In Kerala’s Malappuram, a speeding bike hit a man to death while he was crossing a road with his little son at night time. A CCTV footage of the incident is in circulation online, in which the man and his son can be seen crossing the road, and a speeding bike rams into them, and the man was able to save his son from being hit. However, the man got hit badly and succumbed to the hit, it is learned.

The incident occurred after the man and his son arrived at the scene in a car and parked it near the roadside footpath, before they crossed the road.

It was a busy road, and the man was holding the child by the latter’s hand, and they crossed the road, which had no traffic signals or pedestrian markings. When they neared the opposite side of the road, the father noticed the speeding bike and threw his son aside, but he himself got hit and was thrown further.
