Commercial LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs 12.50

Kozhikode: The price of commercial LPG cylinders has been increased by Rs 12.50. The revised price is Rs 2,840 in Kochi, Rs 2,870 in Kozhikode and Rs 2,860 in Thiruvananthapuram.

Last month, the price of commercial cylinders was increased by Rs 66.50. There has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders.

Oil companies revise fuel prices on the first day of every month. However, this time, the increase has been relatively modest compared to expectations. Rising crude oil prices in the international market have contributed to the latest hike.

The price increase is likely to affect hotel food prices.
