Allen Shuaib alleges pressure to be prosecution witness

Kochi: Allen Shuaib, one of the two accused  in Kozhikode Pantheervankavu Maoist case, alleged  that  pressure  had been exerted on him to turn approver in the case. The matter was submitted before the Ernakulam Special NIA court where he was heard through video conference at the end of his remand term.

Allen revealed that there was pressure from various corners to deoise against the co-convict and said that he would not comply.

The court had approved the demand of Allen and Taha to transfer them from Kakkanad to Viyyur jail.

As Allen said before the court of the pressure to be prosecution witness, NIA’s effort will go in vain.

The prosecution pointed out that if anyone wants to be a prosecution witness, he should apply himself for the same.  But NIA held that it had not put any pressure on Allen to be a prosecution witness.
