Kerala Assembly moves resolution against RCEP

Thiruvananthapuram: Ruling and the Opposition members of Kerala Assembly in a rare bonhomie unanimously signed a resolution on Wednesday asking the Centre not to sign Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RECP).

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan  who moved the resolution against the Free Trade Agreement(FTA) said that the agreement would badly affect agriculture, fisheries and small scale industries.

Oppostion leader Ramesh Chennithala said that RCEP would affect small scale industries leading to job loss.
