CPM releases counter visual of bogus voting by IUML activists

Kannur: In the thick of the row over bogus voting, CPM released a counter visual of Union Muslim League (IUML) activists casting bogus votes in Kannur.

The UDF alliance partner’s four activists were seen repeatedly casting votes at Pamburuthi, near Thaliparamba here.

Pinpointing four League activists: K Anas, (1139th voter), K Marshad (12th voter), M Mubashir (1082nd voter) and V T Mustafa (270th voter), CPM alleges incident of bogus voting at booth 166 there.

CPM also alleged an attempt to capture the booth in Pamburuthi, a Muslim League stronghold.

The controversy of bogus voting erupted after visuals of bogus voting by CPM activists emerged days ago.

Thus embattled, CPM is now reportedly gathering more evidence of bogus voting by other parties to submit to the district election officer.
