Palakkad: Just as the protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) roil in the country, members of the Left along with those of Congress at the Palakkad municipality came to blows with BJP members over a resolution regarding CAA.
The BJP members opposed the resolution leading to scuffle and in the melee the Left members shouted that India has not been sold out to Amit Shah and Modi.
Following the incident, the municipal council meeting was adjourned.
