Kallara: A TV channel crew travelling in a boat to report the rain havoc in Kottayam district got swept away in flood waters, as the boat they travelled capsized near Mundar in Voikom.
Three of the five people belonging to Mathrubhumi News in the boat were rescued while two are still missing. Those bailed out of waters included reporter KB Shreedharan of Kottayam bureau, and Cameraman Abhilash.
However, car driver Bibin and area reporter Saji have not been found yet, just as the search for them are underway.
