Thiruvananthapuram: Leading Tamil actor Kamal Haasan Wednesday congratulated the CPI(M)-led LDF government in the state for providing "good governance" and hoped Kerala will set an example to neighbouring states in various fields.
In an e-mail message to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Haasan said: "I am happy to celebrate one year of good governance along with the people of Kerala.. Wish and hope Kerala sets an example for the neighbouring states to follow in many more fields."
The actor said he was happy to celebrate the occasion with the people of Kerala.
The government headed by Vijayan will be completing one year in office Thursday.
