Misconduct with woman: Kerala Minister A.K. Saseendran quits

Kozhikode: Kerala Transport minister A.K. Saseendran on Sunday announced his decision step down after allegations of misconduct were raised against him.

The minister made the decision after an audio tape hinting at misconduct with a women, which was aired by a TV channel.

"I have decided to resign. This should not be seen as my acceptance of guilt," Saseendran said to the press as he announced his decision to quit ministry.

Earlier, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had said that he would examine the allegations raised against the minister.
