Kollam: In yet another shocking case of sexual assault, an 18-year-old girl hailing from Cherupulasssery was gang-raped by her lover and his friends in Kollam.
The girl has lodged a complaint with the Cherupulasssery police, stating that she was raped on October 26 in an isolated place in Kollam district by five men.
She said in her complaint that she was asked by her lover to reach in Kollam.
When she reached Kollam by train, a woman who claimed to be his friend took her in an autorickshaw to an isolated building. She was gang-raped by her lover and his friends in the house, she said in the complaint.
The police have launched an investigation in the case.
