I still have all my vertebrae intact, says T.P Senkumar

Thiruvananthapuram: A day after he was replaced as the state police chief, senior IPS officer T.P Senkumar Tuesday took to the social networking site Facebook to say that he had never tried to bend his backbone in front of anyone.

“I still have all my vertebrae intact. I have never appeased anybody for any posting. I have always tried to be impartial and fair,” Senkumar said in his Facebook post. 

The IPS officer also said he had never allowed in his knowledge to arrest an innocent and pad up evidences.

“I can leave this place with full satisfaction that in my entire service career I have never asked any subordinate officer to do anything illegal,” he said.

“No illegitimate interfere were entertained in his entire service career,” he added.

Senkumar later told reporters that the rules were being flouted in this reshuffle.

“I will think of legal action if there any need,” he said.

“If the new government wants Behera at the helm of the police affairs, I don’t want to cling on the post,” he said, adding that he was yet to receive the official order.
