Jisha murder: P.P Thankachan files complaint against Jomon

Thiruvananthapuram: UDF convenor P.P Thankachan Friday filed a complaint with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan against activist Jomon Puthenpurakkal for his allegations against him in connection with the Jisha murder case.

Thankachan in his complaint said the allegations against him were in a bid to sabotage the probe into the case.

Jomon had submitted a letter to Pinarayi, alleging that a Congress leader was involved in the murder case. Though no name had been specified in the letter, rumours bagan to spread claiming it referred to Thankachan.

Thankachan later had denied allegations against him, saying that he had no connection with Jisha’s murder.

He had also denied the allegation that Jisha’s mother was the domestic help at his house.
