Thrissur: CPI(M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Wednesday has said Kerala Congress (Secular) leader P.C George’s enemy is his own tongue.
“CPI(M) was not the enemy of P C George. But his biggest enemy was his tongue,” Kodiyeri told reporters after holding talks with Thrissur Bishop Mar Andrews Thazhathu.
“It was a friendly talk,” he said when asked about his meeting with the Bishop.
“The LDF’s final list of candidates will be released in two days after holding talks with its constituents,” he said.
On Tuesday, P.C. George had alleged that dropping him from the list of the LDF candidates was a “payment decision.”
“I won’t say it is a payment seat. But the earlier decision to field me from Poonjar was changed after some moneybags landed in Thiruvananthapuram,” he said.
