Aryadan Muhammed not to contest polls anymore

Malappuram: Veteran Congress leader and current Electricity Minister Aryadan Muhammed on Sunday reiterated his decision to not contest elections anymore.

Muhammed told the media that he would stay away from contesting polls in the future. “I have informed the Congress leadership my decision,” he said.

The minister said he would indulge in the party activities actively.

His name had, however, figured in the list of probable Congress candidates from Nilambur constituency.
