Congress seeks Governor’s intervention to end media-restriction in courts

Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress on Thursday called for the intervention of the Governor to resolve the restrictions media persons face in courts.

“This is an issue that should be sorted out by the Chief Minister and the High Court Chief Justice. The Chief Minister, however, has failed to do it. It is the failure of the government that the issue still remains even after the meeting with the representatives of the lawyers’ community and the media,” KPCC president V M Sudheeran told the media here.
