Govt rejects KSRTC’s plea for more funds

Thiruvananthapuram: The state government has rejected the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC)'s plea seeking more funds to tide over the financial crisis.

The Transport Secretary, in a letter to the Managing Director of KSRTC, said that the demand for fund outside plan outlay cannot be accepted.

The letter also asked the Corporation to form a corpus fund immediately to distribute pensions.

The KSRTC had asked the government to sanction additional fund under non-plan grant to solve the crisis.
