Muslim League won’t leave UDF alliance, says K Muraleedharan

Thiruvananthapuram: Congress leader K Muraleedharan MLA on Sunday said the Muslim League, the second biggest ally in the UDF, would not leave the Front.

“It’s a fact that there are certain issues among the allies in the UDF. But that can be sorted out through discussions,” Muraleedharan told media persons here.

Asked about Kerala Congress (M) Chairman K M Mani’s decision to leave the UDF, the Congress leader said it was unfortunate that Mani left the alliance without a valid reason. “His act of adopting an ‘equidistant’ approach towards the BJP is also inappropriate. However, I do not think he is corrupt,” he added.
