Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader V.S Achuthanandan Saturday took to the social networking site Facebook to reply Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s question why he had failed to mention SNC Lavalin case during his speech at Dharmadam.
Achuthanandan, in a Facebook post, said when he had raised allegations against K Karunakaran in 1992 in the palmolein scam, Chandy, the then Finance Minister, remained tight-lipped in the assembly as if he was enjoying the whole episode.
"The ideological rifts are common in the Communist party. You have to find someone else to speak against Pinarayi and defeat him at the Dharmadam seat,” he said.
"I had made it clear my stand on the Lavaline case when the court pronounced its verdict. R Balakrishna Pillai is not a constituent of the LDF. The perpetrators of TP murder should be brought to light,” said the CPI(M) veteran.
