Thrissur: A complaint has been filed against Deepa Nisanth, assistant professor at the Kerala Varma college in Thrissur.
BJP activist Manoj Kumar, in a complaint filed at in West fort police station, said that Deepa instigated divisiveness and communalism among students.
"Deepa's facebook post had resulted in the untowards incident at the Kerala Varma college," he sain in the complaint.
On Friday, the Cochin Devaswom Board had decided that there was no need to take action against her in connection with the controversy over the beef festival held at the college.
