Unniyadan says he sticks to his stand

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Congress (M) legislator Thomas Unniyadan, who resigned yesterday as the Government Chief Whip, insisted that he stuck to his stand on the issue.

“I resigned from the post in solidarity with Mani. He didn’t ask me to resign. I took the decision to resign my own,” Unniyadan told reporters.

When asked about P.J Joseph’s decision not to resign, he said: “we can’t force everyone to take the same stand.”

He also ruled out any dispute in the Kerala Congress(M).
